Giclée Printing

For these works I have chosen this high quality printing technique that employs ink-jet technology to give exceptional colour and detail reproduction.

Hahnemühle German Etching Paper

This heavyweight paper has a slightly warm base tone and a strong mottled texture. I feel the texture of the paper enables greater ink retention and light absorption and the prints exhibit stronger colours, deeper blacks with a rich feel and good contrast.

This paper is a heavier weight Giclée art printing paper. Its density and strong texture gives the artwork a handmade crafted feel which contrasts well with this digitally rendered series. Hahnemüle German Etching is a robust Giclée paper, with less tendency to fray at the edges.

Dr. EMMETT BROWN

Actor: Christopher Lloyd

Back to the Future (1985)

While the early scenes with his counterpart Marty McFly in the Back to the Future movies featuring Eric Stoltz can be seen before producers re-cast Michael J. Fox, it is perhaps less well known that Christopher Lloyd succeeded first choice John Lithgow for the part of maverick inventor Dr. Emmett Brown.

The creator of a unique Time Travel technology wrapped inside a DeLorean, the ‘Doc’ is a unique cinema creation by Lloyd, the perfect mix of genius, daring, madcap and romantic.
